QTWAV Consultations

Updated: Mar 3

QTWAV has continued to seek extensive consultation with LGBTIQASB+ communities in Queensland who have lived experience of Domestic, Family and Sexual Violence. In 2023, we held a series of discrete discussion groups in Magandjin/Brisbane, as well as Gimuy-Cairns, Gurambilbarra/Townsville, and Bundaberg. On two separate occasions in 2022 we attempted to launch a community-wide online survey, however this work was sadly digitally targeted by hostile actors and was unable to be completed.

Previous consultation work has been supported through a collaborative workforce development grant from WorkUp Queensland.
